Can't See the Color on Signs

    So I have the most recent MacbookPro running OS 1.8.2. Now for some reason when I make these color signs I cannot see the color.

    Now, if I stand on a angle I can see the color on the signs, as you cann see on the exp sign:

    Could someone please help me with this. It's really starting to annoy me.
