Can't log into the server

    I have been gone for about 3 weeks and now that 1.8 is out I can't log in it just keeps saying "Outdated Server" is there something I'm doing wrong? I know the server has been update.

    the server is in 1.7.3 and not in 1.8.1 try to downgrade using mcnostalgia or this
