    Everytime i try to send a message in any channel or pm it says 'Cannot send text message'

    Hello wutschagahama,

    This sounds like you have chat disabled in your muiltiplayer settings. To enable, go into your Minecraft options menu, click on "Muiltiplayer Settings..." and make sure the top left button says "Chat: Shown". This should resolve the issue you are having with chat.
