Where do the donations go anyways?!?! sounds like someone is making some money..

Andrewkm spends hundreds and hundreds of dollars each month to host the server, website, and ventrilo.

Some people do not have the money required to donate.

 

Then i geuss i should find another server if the cap is at 100.

 

Minecraft was over $20 as it is. I don't want to spend another 15 just to get on. I don't have a money tree.

if you dont have the money to donate, mostly because your young and have no job, then go and earn in game money and message players who would donate for you like tommy_t. i bought my donation features with ingame money and real life money

 

One thing you can do is use eco-dollars to have someone donate for you, or the other is wait for the limit to increase( I don't know why the limit was lowered but it is most likely due to a issue that is being worked on and is going to be fixed soon and have the limit back to two-hundred).

 

i do infact have a job. but with my phone bill i have almost no room for donations. especially when it costs $15 to place a block of ice.

Its 100 probably because of the lag. Now the lag has increased after 1.3. 100 people probably reduces lag. If theres an update that helps the lag then the 100 will most likely go up.

 

Jeez... just wait a bit. Do you REALLY believe that the cap is going to STAY at 100? I BELIEVE that the Staff is field testing the changes with a smaller group. Once they're tested as "good", then the cap will be raised. It's like complaining because your mom hasn't finished making dinner 3 minutes after she pulls a pan out. (was going to use a driving analogy, but figured some are not old enough to drive yet)

Websites are actually kinda cheap
Idk about vent. though that probably costs a lot

Also the hardware it runs on costs a lot I imagine

It`s the way it is and if you don`t like it pay someone to donate $10 for you or buy you a
feature.... :/ if you can afford mayor then most likely you can spare the 45k to buy water :/
