I'm interested. I read up on what mend does. It repairs the item when you get so is it possible to fish forever without breaking it? And would you be able to add Unbreaking on it?
Well there is no need to add Unbreaking because mending turns 1 exp into 2 durability and the average catch brings in 5 exp and loses 1 durability. So you could fish forever and never need an erep. I would recommend this if you don't like to constantly ask for ereps or don't have the feature.
Sorry if off topic but. Adding Unbreaking 3 along with Mending is good too, instead of losing 1 experience per catch, you will just lose 1 experience per 4 catch which is good for long-term fishing.
