I really enjoyed the discussion and ideas that took place over the past few days for the Vote Button competition and the Shop Button competition. In fact, I thought that it was good teamwork, where several people submitted ideas, and then everyone got new ideas by looking at one another, and made improvements to their ideas. I really think the whole thing is worked really well. The participating submissions, critiques, reviews, and edits encouraged the best possible product. -- Several ideas testing the water, recognizing what works, and adapting concepts in each its own wrapper -- I really encourage this type of work. If as a community we worked like this more often on wide projects, I think we'd actually come to appreciate what makes ideas unique, and how every member of the community truly does have something to add into the conversation of ideas -- all for the sole purpose of producing higher quality possibilities for what we all care about; in this case the EcoCityCraft branding. This is an absolutely great example, truly fulfilling the nomenclature of what this entire communication tool is. Why am I noting this?
