Hey there ECC Comunity! Well, I'd like to say that i have been playing on this server for a little bit and I absolutely love it. The people here are absoluely fantastic. But getting back to topic, I am a builder, obviously. And I managed to buy some land in a nice town. And with that land i have made a fairly decent farm. But I have decided that I wanted to expand my business. I have constructed a small three room hotel/apartment building on my land. I really wanted to make it cheep so that new player can have a safe place to live and get the same welcoming feeling that i recieved when i fist got here. Is this a good idea?
People do it every so often. Make sure your farm can support 3 people and that your mayor gives you permission to do so. I would charge 750/day which comes with farm access and town perms. (Just to farm with)
Most people like building their own plots on their own land, but if it's cheap, anyone will buy it. Just make sure that you ask the Mayor/Co-Mayor to add your tenant into the town so they can build.
I think a LOT of people as builders/residents made good money on apartments/hotel rooms including me it is a very good idea
I remember first building an apartment building when I first joined. The co-mayor was impressed by the apartment and therefore bought it for 4k, which I made a 2k profit out of. The mayor of the town was happy with my building so he gave me a large plot for free. If I had really known property prices, I could've sold it for up to 6k. Sometimes, it might be more profitable just selling the entire thing.
