Info: It will consist of 12 plot/players, the buy in is below ( each block cost 10 ecodollars) four- 50 by 50 plots for 25k each four- 50 by 45 plots for 22.5k each four- 50 by 41 plots for 20.5k each The people competing will try to make the best building with any materials and to any range as long as you stay in your plot. The structure doesn't have to be a traditonal mansion/hotel/house, it can be any type of building or structure as long as you think it will win. Once all players are signed up and pay, I will put the date to start on this page and try to message everyone individually. After the date you will have two weeks before building is topped and judges deliberate. Winner Prize: Besides getting the money back that you paid for your plot, the winner with the most votes will also get 125k bonus cash. Everyone's Prize: Everyone else won't get money but will be able to sell their plots to people if they want to make a profit off of their building. Judges: Everyone competing will pick their favorite building (besides their own) and I will get some trusted players such as admin to judge along with myself since their shouldn't be any bias players this way. If you don't mind I would like to be a Judge. I have no bias whatsoever, and I'm not friends with any of the president level people that would enter in this contest, so I have no bias there. The only payment I want is to see and judge these to-become structures. I've seen many great structures in my day, and I would find it nice to view and judge these. Although, if you can't fit me in as a judge, I would still like to view them if possible. Thanks
I would like to be a judge, if not I would like to see them. I have been building in competitions, got 2nd in Rheasmom's competition with my "modern" house design. I was considering entering this, but the entry prize is too much and i'll probably lose.
Well if I do change the price, the bonus money would go down. Plus I am basically selling a plot with a competition involved which you are able to sell to another person if desired after the competition lol. I might lower the price to 8 dollars per block, but would decrease the bonus money to 80k plus the money paid for the plot.
My thoughts Make it a 10x10 or 15x15 plot and make the entry fee 1k for a 10x10 or 3k for a 15x15 Have the winner get 10k or 30k (dependent on plot size) You make money from this Have 12 players max
O'k heres why that wouldn't work. To make a good build you could never do it on a 15*15 or 10*10 not even 20*20 because of how precise and perfect it has to be so that's why that wouldn't work but the plots are highly over priced that's why i'm not entering.
Your not buying JUST the plot, your buying a plot and it has a raised price because your entering a contest as well.
I will not be making the plots smaller as it is much harder to make an amazing building on a small plot though is possible. If I don't get enough people I will probably end up making some buildings on the plots as I would like a town with really big and cool buildings. This is the main reason for it and it seems like I might have to do it since no one is competing at this moment, but I will see how it goes.
Plots over priced? a 50x50 plot has always costed around 20k-23k... so you are basically paying a 5k entry fee... If you can't afford it, don't enter.
if the price was around 20k id join i just think its alot of money for residents/builders and possible even mayors
