I plan on building a PC with money I got from Christmas. I have no idea how to build a PC and I need your help. My requirement are below. $400 dollar range Windows 7 At around 40-60 fps on average games. (doesn't need to be 1000 fps. 60 is all I want/need) Can play games on medium-high graphics I found two YouTube videos that look like good computers. Spoiler Spoiler So you know all the info. Here are my questions. These videos don't come with the OS or optical drives. Will the parts in the videos get me by or is there other stuff that I need? Are these videos even good? Do you have any tips for building a PC. (This may not be in the right section. I wasn't sure if it should be in Help and Support or Off-Topic. If this is the wrong section, sorry)
Why not? The videos both have computers for $400 and I saw another from the second vid's channel for $300. I think that I can get those parts for $400 but I found out that I need to get a monitor and a keyboard. I figured out that I can transfer windows 7 from this computer to my new one also. So my main question now is "Are the videos any good?".
Why is 400 to low? Please explain. I watched these videos and the parts are just over 400. Then I will need a keyboard and a monitor so it should add up to $500 if I do it like this. The videos say that the computer runs games good. Also Nelsin, you know that I am building the computer, right? Not buying.
so he can just upgrade parts later..... Anyway I would recommend starting off with the build by austin evans. He is a great tech guy who knows who is talking about when it comes to computers and parts. Another thing is that if you dont need the computer right away, save your money and try and get a more expensive build with some better parts. Overall Austins build is solid and will get you what you want.

The first video was running average games at 40-60 fps. It was playing Crisis 3 (very demanding game) at 30 fps. The fps the first computer was getting is fine with me. It is only $400. I don't know if you are trying to tell me that I need an 10k+ computer or what. All I was asking was some questions about the vids/ect.
dumdum I suggest maybe checking out pcpartpicker and pick the best parts you see that is under $400 dollars I am currently trying to make my own computer to run a mc server. If you need to discuss more feel free to talk to me through convo
