You're not going to have many people applying if they arents getting a lot of profit from their own build. 25% is nothing in my opinion. (Unless the build is selling for a LOT)

I agree, it's technically easier to profit when you build something by yourself, its less hassle & more profit.

Well, @imSwag__ and @dAtsheepd0e, What you are saying is absolutely correct. However, you must also consider that our company secures a lot more of the work that builders needed to do on their own for free. I cannot post what the jobs we do for them are, as it wouldn't be right without high-level clearance, to reveal what our company does that distinguishes us from the rest. And 25% is such a low relative fee as builders work in teams, who each get 25%. This improves efficiency so that builders can perform more work than working alone. For example, if a builder can work for 1 job in a day, the idea of being in a team allows them to work on almost 5 builds a day, assuming they all pay equally. This means, that they get to work on 5+ jobs a day. Making them get 125% of the profit that they would have made in a day, had they worked alone, done all the other work they needed to do. Obviously, for such precise statistics, you are considering high-efficiency builders, but it is the same thing on the other hand, when we have low efficiency builders, either way gets lesser work done. After this relatively concise explanation here, don't get me wrong. Each of your ideas is correct, but only so when you consider half the story, and not when you see the whole picture. Oh, and I cannot show you the other half of the whole picture. As mentioned before, it is company level data.
Ok, I will. They are both very good at building, but one can be astonishingly modest while the other sometimes thinks too big.
I can see where you are coming from, but this simply has lots of flaws, firstly with the 'groupwork'. Many a time, builders can dislike what the other is doing: it's hard to cooperate unless all 5 builders have the exact same idea of what they are building. I've built a huge project with 2 friends once: believe me, it wasn't easy. There were many arguments on who does what, and many arguments on 'You're style is bad, mine is better'. If the builders aren't all really good friends with the same skill level, chances are, the build will slow instead of being more efficient. Still, it's really more efficient to build solo, unless the project is massive. Not only so, but it's not fair to the builders who did more than the others: they still get paid the same, no matter how much they do. I can see what you're talking about, but I simply have to disagree with your statements P.S: You don't need high level statistics. FYI, this is minecraft.
@imSwag__ Your statements represent that humans work at different paces. Now, we do have systems in place to solve that issue, so don't worry about that. And your statements are correct. As I already mentioned, most flaws that you find are usually covered by the other half of company structure which we usually do not reveal to the public. Your statements are true, but rest assured, that we have backups in place to prevent such issues from occurring, and if they do occur, strict rules within the company to review action taken by any employee. @Omega_729 No worries, we have got a new CEO coming in place. The efficiency only benefits you. You said they would get 125% of the profit that they would have made in a day, had they worked alone, but really they wouldn't. The pay would be equal. They could make one building by themselves a day for $10,000 Or they could make 4 buildings in a day in a group of 4 for $10,000 The pay is equal for them, which means the efficiency is only benefiting the company. edit: Lets also not forget that its very unlikely that there will be a need to build 4 things in one day.
True, true. The CEO's get money too, meaning the workers get less. You also need to consider the fact that...will people hire you? Most people want well-known, experienced users to build for them. No offense to kevin, but all I saw on his thread was a lot of bumping with zero applications. I will rest assured, as this is your problem that you will have to deal with, but thank you for the concern.
