Out of hundreds of servers on minecraft that i have played ecocity was my favorite..until today. I was in an isolated cave in the mining world, where my home was set. I was talking to people in chat, so practically standing afk - as my character began spazzing out jumping from glitching into walls and then all my health immediately vanishes. Not that i suffocated in a wall or died in lave or suffocated under water with damage over time, no. I just died immediately. I went back to the cave almost instantly, but my items where nowhere to be found. Having over 20 diamond, pumpkin axe, and a perfect pic (eff5 unb3 silk touch 1 ) before the incident on my hand and having all of that gone for no apparent reason.. I do not know where to post this or how i can get attention from admins, because all i got from the moderators when i told them my problem was "quit whining, your computer sucks". But i am certain that that was the server's fault. I do not know what happened or how it happened, but having all the stuff i worked so hard on lost in a matter of seconds because of a glitch is just terrible. I really hope i at least receive an answer to what might have happened and hopefully get my items back. Thank you for attention!
The butcher doesn't kill items though, how long did it take you to return to the spot where you died?
possibly you were just in the worst timing possible, as in your client lag killed you, then the next few seconds somebody ran up and stole your items. mod might have to check server log to see if your client disconnected for a time.
I have had times when I have drowned in blocks after going through a portal and then my items disappearing. Never got round to reporting it, and well, it is hard to re-create.
there was nobody there, the place was sealed off and like 15-20 blocks above ground, not a chance that somebody took it as i came back immediately after. And it wasn't a drowning in blocks either, it was just an immediate death..
