Sugarcane has this weird bug where 1 row always pops out, it's been happening since b1.7 and I still haven't figured out what caused it.

    Solution: Don't plant in rows.

If you put lilypads over the water you can walk across the entire farm to harvest and not worry about rows. Also this is an 8x8 and you can copy the pattern over and over to either make a 16x16 or even larger and you can have 75% of the chunk growing sugarcane (then just add floors).

If all reeds are 3 high when you harvest, you'll get exactly 6 stacks per 16x16 floor (while still leaving 1 to regrow obviously).

I did this exact same layout as this but made it 16x16. It makes $110 a floor and i am adding more floors daily :p
