Minecraft Username: Bomberaz1 Brief Description: To make smelting quicker, I have /pt smelt on gold ore along with /pt condense on gold ingot - making smelting and storing quick and easy. After using both /pt commands, I end up with only one gold ingot in the slot used for the powertool command, but had a stack of 64 gold ore when I started. All other items were iron ore (smelted to ingots and condensed) and did not disappear. Instructions: 1. Set /pt smelt to gold ore 2. /pt condense to gold ingot 3. Fill inventory with Iron ore except for one slot in the hotbar 4. Fill empty slot in hotbar with a stack of gold ore 5. Click on gold ore to activate smelt then click on gold ingot to condense. The stack of gold disappears and leaves just one gold ingot. How many times did you recreate this bug?: 2 out of 2 Result: 64 gold ore turns into 1 gold ingot. Expected Result: 64 gold ore turns into 64 gold ingot and condensing ingot into gold blocks/left over gold ingot Evidence: Unfortunately I have no video/pictures of incident. Thank you for your help, Bomber1216
Condense typically drops items you don't have room for, in this case the blocks. Were they on the ground?
I'm going to go ahead and assume this is the same bug with trade signs, buy signs, etc. They all use the same file and same functions.
That's irrelevant in this case, then. The smelt would keep them neatly in a stack. Condensing after is what would need the extra inventory space and drop items.
Same as https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/bug-report-cnd-all-diamonds-emeralds.148362 https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/bug-report-condense.148463/ Gold is smelting first and there is no room for the blocks so they disappear even though they're meant to drop. Try to make sure your inventory isn't too full when using /cnd.
But this report is about condense. Smelt isn't really relevant. basically condensing a stack of goldingots in a full inventory results in the blocks made from 63 ingots disappearing into the void that is the offhand slot. (seriously, use getStorageContents() instead of getContents(). And if that doesn't work, it's a bug on bukkit's side.)
