Witnessed these happenings first hand, and iEvolive was sold one of these heads for 60k, can also vouch that these are real heads.
I've looked through the mcmmo code and it's an intended feature on McMMO's end, but it wasn't known on ecc. Now it's up to andrewkm , he has to choose whether to keep it in-game or not. (Note, the whole SHAKE feature, because you can't simply remove the heads)
