Minecraft Username: Wacko1971 Brief Description: Repetitively trying to break a sponge (or several) with no result. Instructions: Placed several sponges, tried to break them with no result How many times did you recreate this bug?: Several. Occasionally one will break but it takes forever. Result: Sponge reappears Expected Result: Sponge disappears Evidence: As you can see by the video, several will not break. I have tried logging off and back on, leaving the chunk and coming back and still no luck.
Thanks andrewkm, I just recreated it but tried a few different things. There is only 35 players on the server and I tested as below.... laid out 15 sponges used my eff v/unb iii/silk i pickaxe broke 5 with no problems the rest all reappeared tried my eff v shovel same result used a sponge to break the other sponges and every one broke with no problems Possibly an issue with the speed the eff v items break at, not sure, but I will use my sponge from now on I guess to break them.
Ahhhh ok. So breaking the blocks to quick cause the anti-cheat to kick in and hence the block re-appears.
I have this problem with eff4 tools, pre-1.4. I just use a common diamond sword on 'em now. Works near perfectly.
Might have to go make me a sword then.... haven't had one before so I will make one and give it a go.
