Minecraft Username: @RealRichNixon Brief Description: Magic mob spawn eggs seemingly cannot be used. Instructions: 1. Obtain a magic mob spawn egg. 2. Attempt to spawn it by right clicking on the ground. 3. Note the inability to spawn the mob, and the lack of an error message as well. How many times did you recreate this?: I have tested this at least twice, with a magic cow spawn egg and a magic cat spawn egg. @Riggs316 was able to confirm that non-magic mob spawn eggs (particularly, a cow spawn egg) works as intended. Result: Upon attempting to spawn a magic mob spawn egg, nothing happens. Attempting to spawn a non-magic mob spawn egg works just fine. I am not sure if it is a similar issue as with spawners changing NBT data with the recent version update, but I suppose it would be worth noting that the magic cow spawn egg I attempt to use is from prior to the update, obtained from the winter festival. Expected Result: I would expect that magic mobs can be spawned. Evidence: N / A.
This is due to how we block collectible item usage (lore). We've now added spawn eggs to our specialty / lore blocking whitelist. Fixed and live on the main servers.
