Minecraft Username: Zedoker Brief Description: A lift down/lift up is not working as expected Instructions: This is super specific to my town The general coords are: /tppos -736 -22 -8698 This will lead to a vertical area that I have built, all the floors are labelled on signs as well as on the walls. Whenever you try to go from Floor 2 to Floor 3 or Floor 4 to Floor 3, you cannot use the lift as "there is no floor at your destination" This does not impact going to floors 1,2,4, only floor 3. I have replaced the floor with different materials, same materials, moved the signs around, etc. How many times did you recreate this?: Too many Result: Cannot use the lift to access floor 3 Expected Result: Should be able to access floor 3 Evidence:
The issue lies with where the destination lift is placed. The issue you are having with your Floor 3 lift is because the arrival is on y = -1 However further testing shows that Lift destinations do not function if they are placed on y-levels -1, 0 and 1. They do work anywhere else. You can still use the Lift that is placed on these y levels to arrive at another lift sign, but you cannot arrive at ones placed at -1, 0 or 1, they simply are not being detected as arrival points on these specific y-levels. However documentation for Lifts does not state that there are restricted y-levels so this is likely a bug.
Still not working as per my original set up with the same error message If I move the lift sign down a block to y=-2 (but not up), it works. If that's the workaround I need to do, that's fine with me. I appreciate the follow up!
@andrewkm Lift signs are still fixed on MainSouth, I copied Zedo's exact setup and placed it at the exact same coordinates on MainSouth and it works just fine. Fixed version just doesn't appear to be live on Main.
