Minecraft Username: ttcheshier56 Brief Description: i was dropping my enchanted axe to jjlava for a e-repair and half way through to bounce to him it disappeared it wasn't close enough to either of us to pick up and we both did'nt hear the pick-up sound. a little while later we asked alarah to come over and alarah has not heard of anything like that. before the e-repair i did /itedb and it had over 300 more blocks Instructions: 1: /home 2: /tpahere <character>, couple seconds later /tpahere <diffrent character> 3: drop axe enchanted with efficacy 5 unbreaking 3 fortune 3 (at a little over 300 health left) 4: thats when it dissapered How many times did you recreate this bug?: 0 Result: Expected Result: item disappear Evidence: you could ask alarah or jjlava
It was probably the auto-butcher. I am sorry that this happened to you, but from what I have heard nothing can be done.
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the auto butcher destroy entities? If so, the dropped axe was an entity at the time it was thrown, correct?
yes, really. Butcher was made in such a way that items get ignore unless it's specifically told to butcher items. And andrew said he didn't do that.
What about all those people talking on that suggestion thread about having a butcher warning? They all said they've lost items to butcher. I'm confused?

This happened to me once, I was at spawn, received an item for an e-repair and it wasn't in my inventory. I went /home and it appeared! Must have been the lag from spawn
yeah i thought it would be something like that also so me and the guy doing the e repair re logged twice still nothing.
