You will receive the "Night vision has been enabled" message. However, it will not activate. This bug is present in every world. Nightvision cannot be enabled when you are disguised as a mob. Nightvision can be disabled when you are disguised as a mob. If you attempt to enable nightvision while disguised as a mob, it will not turn on upon undisguising. If you attempt to enable nightvision while disguised, upon undisguising you must disable and re-enable nightvision for it to function properly. Nightvision, if already on, will persist when diguising and undisguising. How many times did you recreate this bug?: 10+ Result: You will receive the "Night vision has been enabled." message. However, it will not activate. Expected Result: Night vision toggles with the command. Evidence: None.
