Minecraft Username: Samanthurr Brief Description: This. I get this message about every thirty minutes, maybe an hour or two if I'm lucky. Things I've Done: Reinstalled Minecraft Updated Java Updated My Drivers and other computer things. Restart the router multiple times I just want to play without being disconnected, this is very disheartening. I'm not even sure if it's the server but MAYBE someone out there can help me. I can tell when it's happening because I freeze and/or can't open chests or place blocks or what have you. I play Minecraft on two computers, using the same internet, and the other rarely does it. I hope someone can help me through this frustration. Thanks in advance.
I'd believe that, if I didn't play on another computer on the same internet and not have the problem.
Something with your wifi. How to fix: plug in your internet cord B. Reset everything C. Yell and swear at it. D. re instal minecrafft and rest your router for 30 seconds
Is there something on your computer thats says "restore or something like that? If that dont work contact your internet provider today.
Honestly, sounds like a network error to me that causes you to disconnect from a minecraft server. Heres a few questions which might help. Does it happen on other servers, or just ecc? Are all your network drivers updated? Is your router old? Is your pc/laptop old? Are absolutely every drivers available updated to suit your pc/laptop? Where abouts do you live? (What country, is it far from the server host etc) Reply to these questions and i'll see what i can do, iTz
I decided to get on another server before you asked, and yes it happened after about ten minutes. Yes, as said I updated the drivers yesterday. I don't think the router is THAT old. Barely a year for the PC, as I said And I'm on the East Coast of the US.
Hmm, definitely connection problem. It may have something to do with where you live, and you're having a bad ping towards the server? (how fast data is sent to the server), May I ask what is your usual ping?
This is commonly an issue with your router, try rebooting your router @Samanthurr Alternatively, you can try restting it to factory settings, or, if possible, get an ethernet cable and hardwire it in.
I have done that, I'm also currently using an Ethernet cord. I have also /just/ disabled my firewall through my Security provided (but still am using the windows one)... we'll see if maybe it was blocking the connection.
Mcafee is known to be the worst and screw up everything lol Avast is only $20 and it is one of the best in my opinion
Be Very Careful with this! Restore is a last ditch effort and should never be done by anyone that does not completely understand what they are doing. [Wording Edit]
