This has happened many times (~10 times) with the announcement threads - sometimes sale announcements, voting winners or other threads cannot appear as unread unless I specifically "Mark this forum as read". A bug about a common bug thread in the bug report section... when did we start this meta-bugging? ^,.,^ I should add that this particular thread is displayed as read, though.
