Thats probably because clownfish and pufferfish aren't mean't to be smelted in the first place... Simply excluding them from the smelt commands should fix it.
Thanks for the report, the developer has been notified, and I've sent in a PR to the developer to resolve this.
Could not reproduce with /smelt or /smeltall on either pufferfish or clownfish. All seems to be fixed.
