Minecraft Username: wenxuan100 Brief Description: My backpack was wiped after yesterday for some reason Instructions: I do not know. How many times did you recreate this bug?: once. Result: My backpack was wiped Expected Result: My backpack didn't wipe Evidence:
Backpack is really buggy in general. To everyone: don't use backpack for ANY valuables. They will probably get bugged or wiped
I will be testing this soon, however since our backpack launch this is literally the only report of its kind. I will have to dig into our files to see what you may have possibly done, although I really believe it's some sort of user error. I will respond here soon.
I see no issues with your backpack after looking into this. If anyone has exact reproduction of some sort that would be very useful, however from looking over things I do not see anything that would have caused this. Are you sure you didn't empty your backpack yourself or misplace your items?
I also see no reason why you are commenting on a feature you do not even have in your account. Your post is absolutely useless, incorrect and misleading. We have not had any issues of this sort with backpack since launch and it has been tested thoroughly. Don't post random useless nonsense on the forums without having valid evidence of what you are stating.
I remember having a pumpkin axe, and other ores inside my backpack. The next day, it was gone. I checked every chest that I either /locked or put something in.
Your enderchest is bound to your player.dat file, so if it clears, theres a much bigger issue than just your enderchest emptying. Unless something external handles those. I havent done much research into things like enderchests.
EChest data is stored in the player.dat file. However, this bug is about the backpack. To my knowledge, backpack data is stored externally and not wiped.
I just bound the talk about EChest to it not being related to backpacks. The backpacks would be found in backpack plugins data.
