KHobbits can look into this as he created this trade system. Minecraft Username: RyanJF1 Brief Description: I am unable to add dirt to trade signs (where you sell the item). Note, I thought this was lag at first. I relogged many times and waited for a restart. I also made another side in my town which I don't lag as much in. I can add stone to my stone selling sign, too. Instructions: 1) Create a trade sign that sells dirt. 2) Right click to add dirt How many times did you recreate this bug?: 10/10 times. Result: It shows as if I am holding air and trying to collect the money from it. Expected Result: Dirt added into sign. Evidence:
I have a similar issue with trade signs sometimes. Try standing a little further back... and if that doesn't work, try standing a lot closer. My dirt sign I have to be far back from, but, my glowstone sign I have to get up very close to.
I would personally like to give KMaxwell a rating of over 9000 as her trick has seemed to work. The distance does have an effect on whether or not the item is added to the sign. Though this is still a bug, this is a little fix.
AH-HA! I have found the problem! The sign that says "Please donate to keep this shop running!" is blocking the dirt trade sign. Once the donate sign was removed, I was able to place the dirt into the sign by right clicking. Notice the donate sign (not the trade sign) behind the chat. After the sign was removed, I was able to add the dirt.
