Minecraft Username: killrdarknes Brief Description: Basically, using a simple Acrobatics training setup, you won't gain XP after landing on blocks more than once. So, if I fell on block "a", then healed and lifted back up to the jumping platform, landing on block "a" again won't net me XP. It seems to effect a radius of blocks over time; so jumping onto block "b", near block "a", then back to block "a" will still not net you any XP for landiing on block "a". Instructions: Jump off platform. Take damage, get acro xp. Jump off same platform onto the same block. No gain xp. How many times did you recreate this?: 10+ Result: Not gaining Xp after landing onthe same block again and again. Expected Result: Continuously gaining XP when you fall for acrobatics, despite where you land and how often. Evidence:
Update: Did some testing in the Mining world; seems this acrobatics XP gain denial ONLY occurs when you land on the same block AFTER using a Heal sign. Something to do with Heal signs, then... probably an intentional mechanic, but still.
This is a feature within mcmmo called acrobatics exploit fix, basically stops afk leveling. Basically if you land within the same spot. you won't get mcmmo exp from it. As for heal signs stopping the xp, that I'm not too sure about, does like an intentional mechanic. Quote from the mcmmo discord: "by default, you don’t get xp falling in the same place any of your last 60 landings were and you only get XP from falling if it’s been at least 3 seconds since you last did."
I did some of my leveling acrobatics after the overhaul. Healsigns does not stop you getting mcmmo exp.
They don't mean it as a bug, they were just making a post in reply to the hypothesis/question heal signs prevent McMMO EXP gain posed by iSneaky above, stating that it's incorrect and instead purely based on falling in the same place.
