Minecraft Username: Ancastal Brief Description: I can't give the /own of my Melon Sword (ID #KB2ULD9K) to somebody else. Neither can I /own remove the ID of the tool. I do own the tool and it has "Ancastal" written on it. I don't think I have ever traded it before. Instructions: /own [another username] and /own remove [ID] do not work on my Melon Sword. How many times did you recreate this?: Many times. Result: The Melonsword is still owned by me and I can't remove the /own. Expected Result: Another user should own the item. I shouldn't own it anymore. Evidence:
@Ancastal You'll need to give me more info on what's going on here. Can't replicate anything here so far. For example, what happens if you try to own it to someone else or remove the own? Does it give a message?
This happened to me and @MinecraftParkerH he owned a tool to me and I owned a tool to him to trade we were both on as owner of the tool it would not let us /own the other person until we completely removed the /own entirely with the unique item ID. Not sure what causes this to happen but removing the /own entirely seems to fix it.
Should also mention this was brought to staff attention but due to having found a quick fix I don’t think it was brought up again. (Not quite sure who was involved at the time as this was a few weeks ago)
Place it in one of your PVs or a locked chest and let me know where so I can take a look at it, please.
