Minecraft Username: @stigarose Brief Description: I store a lot of inventory full stuff in trade signs in my home location of botany. Today I tried to get an inventory full (-1 stack) of granite (2240) out of a trade sign by breaking it. The stuff was in my invetory for a flash and all disappeared except the sign itself. Under guidance from @priMELval I added another sign with 1 block and broke it and it disappeared also. Instructions: 1. Place trade sign with item 2. break trade sign 3. Woosh its gone .. was only reproducible with me, @priMELval tried the same thing but it the error did not happen. How many times did you recreate this bug?: 1 the initial incident and then 3 times after that in the presence of @priMELval once with a block of granite, andesite, and a sign Result: Stuff is GONE. I'm a little annoyed about an inventory full of granite being gone, but more concerned by the MANY other signs full of stuff! Haven't tried breaking any other signs yet.
Two things come to mind in response to your problem. 1. Make sure you do not have powertool /sell hand for granite. 2. Make sure to log out and back in before and after breaking signs.
Can confirm. Stigarose is cursed. I placed and broke a trade sign in the exact same spot with no problems.
I don't sell hand granite...I'm a horder...so no powertool on that one. I did try logging out and in, but at the time didn't shut down minecraft and restart it or shut down pc and restart (I was about to leave for work). But I dig log out and log in and it happened again witnessed by prim as she said above (thanks BTW)
