How many times did you recreate this bug?: only the once, that i have noticed Result: my mining skill increased by 1 when not moving, just still in the air. Expected Result: n/a Evidence:
Are you in a party with expshare turned on? If so, any of your party members that are within a 75 square radius from you can give you xp.
Can anyone else confirm this is happening? I want to confirm 100% it wasn't you exp sharing, even if you think you weren't. Once I have a few people able to confirm this, I'll take a look into it... This is exactly what happens when exp share is on, this is why I want a few others confirming this prior to doing any extreme testing.
Were you by chance smelting anything in a furnace in that area you were flying in? I know that gives exp for mining.
I have also had the same issue with cavemanbo4, because i was going back to my home (/home home), and it instantly gave me an extra level of mining
I was definitely not in a party, have never been in/created one. as for the furnace I am not 100% sure if was smelting anything, but does that not occur when u collect the smelted items?..
