IGN-Shotgunboy0130 Suggestion-Bringing back the online map. Reason-I think they should bring back the online map, but not only me i think many others want andrewkm to bring it back also, and this is why. When people are looking for a flat piece of land to put their town its nearly impossible to find a good spot unless you have fly, and it is even hard with that because it takes for ever and your render gets really screwed up also the chunks that load, so i think if andrew were to bring back the map that it would make it easier on many people when trying to find a town.
The online map will just make lag and make this server super laggy which it already is, so an online/live map is out of the question. Have a static map, it's a picture of the live map but it's not live and it doesn't show players only land from a view of all of ecocitycraft.
I would love to have this map back, but the entire plugin made the server lag. The benefits of not having lag outweigh the live map in my opinion. If the plugin is fixed and not as resource intensive, I wouldn't mind it.
I would pay all the monies in existence to have the livemap back, but it is not the best idea (see above: lag). Unless the plugin gets refined, we use a very, very low quality, or there is a better plugin out there... I highly doubt the map will come back. However, I would adore to have a bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly static map. I do not know how the process is nowadays, but we used it a long time ago before we had a live map... Even if not for planning out a town area, it is great to see how ECC grows over time.
I used to love watching my cities grow on the livemap. It is such a shame that it's no longer around, but I can understand the reasons why. I do agree though that some alternative which updated every few weeks would really be appreciated.
+1 to a live map but not as laggy it does need fixing before it would be placed back onto the server, a static map would be good though.
