I had a similar problem. 1/ Is your sign like this blank [Bridge] 0 0 My bridge was only one block wide and if I left lines 3 and 4 blank then the bridge would not work all the time. After putting in the lines 3 and 4 I havent had a problem with it. 2/ If you stand at one end of the bridge can you see the sign at the other end? If you can't then you will need to make your bridge shorter so you can see the sign. Can't remember for sure but I think it is 30 blocks maximum between each sign. 3/ Try making the bridge 2 or 3 blocks wide and filling in your sign to reflect blocks on either side and see if that works, obviously maintaining the distance between signs as in above. I have several bridges in my town that all operate. Some are single bridges, some are 2 wide and I havent had a problem with them. Maybe post some things you have tried to help pinpoint what may be the problem.
Yeah im using the bridge above my coco farm and its always worked but last night the bridge would only disappear and not reappear...i found out later that they are having an issue with ect creations etc..i guess even gates are messing up as well...idk hope its fixed soon XD
Some additional information from when I was working with mrbojangles' bridges On the first bridge that I tested, one sign would open correctly, however it would not add the blocks removed to the stock signs, and when trying to close from that side give the error "Not enough blocks to trigger the mechanism." This sign on the other side would open the bridge when clicked, however it would not add stock to the sign, and then close the bridge when clicked again. I am not sure what caused the second sign to do that, as I could not make any other sign replicate it, however I feel the need to mention it. The other four bridges that I tested that were set up the same design, would open correctly and not add the stock to the sign, and when you tried to close it would give the error "Not enough blocks to trigger the mechanism." Hope this helps.
