I recently got on the server yesterday. I have a 2 story house and 3 horses. One of my favorite things about minecraft is animal breeding and creating different farms and different animals, such as horses. When I found out that I could not breed my Horses I was devastated. I had spent hours trying to get these but I couldn't breed them. I asked some people on the server about it and they said I couldn't breed any animals. So how am I supposed to farm when I can't create new animals to replace the ones I ate. I personally think breeding should be allowed because it is a major part of minecraft and without it minecraft isn't minecraft. I belive with breeding this server could have more players and less empty spaces.
Hello @rtbiii , While I understand why you may be sad that breeding on ECC is disabled, we do have our reasons for it. Answering some questions, on Ecocitycraft, the income is usually from crop farming, not animal farming. While I understand that you love to farm animals and it is a part of vanilla minecraft, we do not follow vanilla minecraft in everything. If you do need food, I suggest farming crops such as carrots and potatoes, those provide good hunger bars, and at the same time are easy to get. If you would like to see breeding on Ecocitycraft, you are welcome to post a suggestion in this forum section. It will be looked at and a decision will be made, and if you do make the suggestion, I wish you luck with it. Anyways, I will be locking this as it isn't really a complaint on any user in particular.
