The Zodiac Chronicle Explosion in Picon!! In the early hours of this morning a large explosion rocked Picon.The explosion, the source of which has yet to be determined, occurred in the Sorrow Bay area of the town, and has resulted in the almost complete destruction of at least 4 buildings, with dozens feared dead.Although the blast originated dangerously close to the zodiac embassy, the building itself suffered only minor damage, and no officials are believed to have been harmed. At this time no groups have come forward to take responsibility for the event.In response to the event, the Picon Quorum Delegate has issued the following statement: ' We are a city in mourning. Though at this time nobody has come forward, we believe this tragedy to be an act of aggression towards our great city, and democracy. In the face of our enemies, we will stay resilient. ' The scene of the blast has since been cornered off, and many homes in the area have now been evacuated. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that may be helpful. Though the fires caused by the disaster have now been extinguished, structural damage has caused more area to be cornered off. Outerlocal, I am deeply pained by the events of December 19. As to who would have done this, I have a few suspicions. Firstly, I have a few questions for you. 1) Who was on Picon's building team? 2) Have you used a Miner counter on the area of the blast? (A Miner counter measures radioactivity) 3) Are there any towns nearby Picon and Aerillon that you know of? 4) Do any children live in Picon or the surrounding area?
Appropriate interviews have been conducted with all individuals in the area, including builders who were constructing the Tower Bridge nearby. A full report of our findings, including an accurate list of victims will be released by Picon officials later today. Picon and Aerilion are in a remote area of the world, and to our knowledge, no other settlements have remained nearby since the great flood occurred 100 years ago and changed the landscape. However, Picon itself is a busy port, and many shipments pass through the area every day, therefore keeping track of all visitors to the city is a challenge. The area of Picon that was tragically destroyed was largely a residential area, and yes, children would have likely been in the area at the time. Our thoughts are with all the families of those who lost their lives.
