Minecraft Username: Cramerica84 Brief Description: Any size area I choose to clear with my boosted3 sponge always clears the same amount which is the smallest size. It seems to initially clear out the right size but then the water fills back in. Instructions: Just place multiple sponges of different clearing sizes and you will see. How many times did you recreate this?: Many Result: Smaller clear size than it says Expected Result: To clear what it says Evidence: I didn't take any pictures but you can try it or tp to me and I'll show you.
Initially I thought this was normal sponge behavior, as water does typically flow back when you remove a source block if there are other sources around it. But our default sponge mechanic that comes with the Water package clears a 5x5x5 area and stays that way without any water flowing back in, this should be the expected behavior for any of the sponge modes. The issue seems to be that the water initially clears the correct area but ends up flowing back in, it will stop flowing/filling in at the 5x5x5 area that the default sponge clears at. Issue persists with the 7x7x7, 9x9x9 and 11x11x11 modes. The 5x mode is working is intended.
Not sure if we'll be able to make this happen, but we'll do our best. Added it to our development tracker.
