Thread Title: Block Logging for Mayors Minecraft Name: Xacheiree Suggestion: I am aware that only super-mods have the permissions to use the block-logging plugin used to catch griefers. This seems backwards. While I understand wide-use of the block-logging would cause drama llamas to breed like rabbits, I think this system is very innefficient. I've run servers before, and limiting griefer-hunting to the admins can be incredibly frustrating for players. My town in ecocity has had a griefer for a while now, which we've attempted to catch many times. We've submitted three griefer reports, which came up with first, a town leader who was not on at the time of the grief, and secondly, a player who we promptly kicked out. But our griefer is still there. My problem is that I have to sit here and wait for a supermod to get on and check the blocks he griefed before I can do anything. The only action I have at my hands to prevent further damage is to remove everyone from the town, so the griefer can't destroy any more. It's like holding a bomb, waiting for the bomb-squad. Right now, the griefer placed a bunch of signs in our plaza demanding diamonds. I could easily pinpoint the grief on him, had I the block-logging permissions. Instead, I'm chilling here, typing a long suggestion while I wait for a supermod to log in. Mayors should have the ability to check logs, or you should at least have a place where mayors can apply to have the permissions. Make it based on the application (not eco-dollars) and include things in it, such as if they have any admin/moderating experience with block-logging, and have they used it before? Reducing the ability to find griefers to 4-5 people gives griefers a lot of freedom. They can do a lot of damage before they're caught. Reason: This would help the server reduce/scare off griefers. Other Information: I've run two servers, and had a lot of experience with griefers and block-logging. Link to this plugin: No plugin for this suggestion.
