Wanted to know if you mined or had a cool rig to show. Currently my rig is horrible but its energy efficient: Rasbperry Pi USB 3.0 Hub 2 ASIC USB Bitcoin Erupters You could add more USBs overtime and probably break even one day.. I always thought of a system including Solar power it would be expensive but a good idea. I am working on blue prints but I could probably never make it myself. But Bitcoins are out of the equation so whats your rigs Also what would you suggest for a litecoin rig?
I want to buy a gen 4 ASIC USB Erupter but gen 5 is coming soon. Its the cheapest price I've seen for a gen 4 erupter yet: $56 sgd. Edit: Got a gen 3 for cheap price :3 What are your opinions?
Wrote a article about bitcoins with a opinionated part at the end. Will post soon be sure to check it out.
Ok I have bought a USB ASIC Block Erupter 3.0 for the price of 16 USD + Travel costs!!! Quite a good buy. So how are your mining rigs going. I got plans to make a pool using Python once I get the knowledge. I hope that they don't get forgotten about. Try to make websites where you can buy stuff for bitcoins and all this stuff to keep the bitoin market high!
I just use my gaming pc. After throwing in a 80 plus bronze PSU, I let my 7850 collect the small number of now litcoins that it makes. I used to mine bitcoins until they hit the news and everyone mined them Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
How much do you make using your 7850? I've got one too, and I was wondering if it'd be very profitable
Not much at all any more. More of a hobby now. If you want to earn money, this is not the way to go. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
*Loses Money* Well I am currently powering my Raspberry Pi which will hold my ASIC with a Solar Panel. I will store the power in a box while i'm at school and then come home. I think. This should stop any money loss other than buying the stuff. Lets see.
@NelsinMartin - Is my twitter. I tweet a lot about bitcoin and retweet price changes and new innovators. Follow me to keep updated and tell people so that bitcoin does not crash ._.
Oh yah probably should have explained that you connect it with a usb hub and then connect the asic block erupters which actually do the mining ti the rasberry pi.
