ok so i know that there is some debate whether melons or wheat was better so what i was thing was that i could make a simple farm. layoutk so i would have a simple 20x20x10 auto wheat farm and a 30x30x10 melon farm next to it is this a good idea? thx for reading
I recommend you use a 16x16 (1 chunk) farm. or a 32x32 (4 chunk) farm. To find out a chunk, hit F3 (FN+F3 for mac) to see your coordinates. If the X and Z coordinate are divisible by 16, then you are at the intersection of 4 chunks (their corners). If farm can be wheat of melons. I recommend a wheat farm if you don't have a silk touch tool for harvesting melons.
