Is dumb. Why is it that you have to be the original mayor to do anything productive? It is kind of limiting. This is my official petition to remove that from the necessary requirements for making changes in a town.
Well, first of all it prevents owners from being usurped by mayors. Secondly, it increases demand for town applications, which removes money from the economy whereas towns sold to other players by owners for a meagre price of 50-100k keep money in the economy. Third, there is a reason why people are able to purchase town transfers and there is a reason they are expensive - being an original owner isn't cheap, nor will it ever be because that would take away the main purpose of becoming mayor. So, -1.
The town you just bought can actually be claimed now because the original owner is perma-banned. This wont be changed unfortunately but god luck with your town.
^ shane and mission are correct (probably, ive said things wont be changed once before and was wrong ) Basically, its an incentive and use for both for both the town claim system and making people rank up out of resident
The reason is because you're not supposed to buy towns from other players you are supposed to buy them from the server.
