Hello, I was looking at my bank statement here, on forums, and realized that the sender and receiver columns are backwards. When I deposit, it says i am the receiver and the bank is the sender. I will attach a screenshot of it, I just want to mention this, as it could later, possibly be used to make false claims of not receiving money that the bank "sends" during a deposit. (incase image doesnt pull into forum)
To myunderst anding, it's like this. You are ingame and deposit 10k. The money is annihilated, but the forum bank (With unlimited funds) recieves the order to send 10k to your forum balance. So when you deposit, you are the recipient. When you withdraw money, you send it to the bank. THe bank sends the server a signal to grant you 10k, so the forum bank is the recipient. Seems correct.
so when i deposit 10k i am recieving 10k? therefore i should have 20k? @314 I understand where you are saying that it is my forum account receiving, from the bank, who is carrying money from the game, however, when you deposit money into a bank, the bank receives the money, if i am not mistaken. Therefore, when i withdraw the money for sportsbook, ingame, or stocks, I am receiving the money, and the bank is giving it to me. Maybe that is just an American thing though. I dont know how other countries' bank systems work.
Basically, I guess i am just pointing out, that it would be easier for the public to track their past, if it was as it is in real banks. Real life money isnt annihilated, and remade, it is simply transfered. I guess im just seeing the 3rd part of the transaction instead of the main flow of money? All i know is that, the transaction history above, is backwards, and the opposite of how it is in real life. Perhaps this is just my Accounting Degree getting the best of me. who knows lol
if im not mistaken, all that would be is a labelling issue, would change the "sender" text and "receiver" text. shouldnt affect the systems mechanics. unless it is somehow tied directly into it.
314 is correct. The sender/reciever columns are for who sent the request. EG. /bank withdraw will show you as the sender, and the receiver as the bank. This is because you "sent" the request to take money out of the bank. /bank deposit will show the bank as the sender, and you as the receiver. As above, this is be cause the bank "sent" the request to take money from your balance
OK, thank you, so it isnt a transaction report, it is a command request report. thank you. thought it was transaction report.
