Minecraft Nameucky_Momo16 Suggestion:adding a section on the forums for the reason people were banned Reason:Its so irritating seeing some one banned and they dont have an appeal and you want to know why also this will prevent people asking why people were banned Any Other Information:no Link To This Plugin:n/a
the reasOn this would be said is that a forum section that would be updated EVERY time someone is banned would be huge and take a buch of effort. The only reason that you should know why people were banned should be if they cared enough to submit a ban appeal. Just my two cents (lies it was three)
/seen <username> usually will tell you why they are banned. No need for this, just something else to upkeep.
heavens... this is a mod-only feature of the system currently. I am completely neutral on the suggestion. prevents "privacy" but at the same time if your banned do you deserve privacy? (which is for it) but at the same time, this will cause many not allowed discussions about banned users, i.e. ZOMG RABID GOT BANNED FOR SAYING CARROT WHAT IS GOING ON
We used to have a section like you are talking about, but even then not all bans were updated because we did not want all of them to be shown.
The reason users such as star were banned will never be disclosed. In addition, we used to have this, then we gave up.
I like this idea cause it would only have to be a simple report. eg Banned Playerr: [ing] Length of ban: [in seconds, minutes, hours, days, years or perm] Reason: [short reasoning] eg Spamming or scamming [user] of [amount/item] And the post would be locked straight away. This would also ensure mod honesty (not saying our mods aren't honest) because the mod would have to justify banning a player.
