Hello @TombRaider131313, thanks for appealing! Before I reduce your ban, I would like for you to copy & paste the specific rules that you have broken into this thread (Inappropriate Language, Spam, and Grief), which can be found in this link.
2.1 Clause 1 - Griefing 2.2 Clause 2 - Trolling 2.3 Clause 3 - Harassment 4.1.1 Clause 1.1 - CAPS and Spam 4.2 Clause 2 - Vulgarity 4.7 Clause 7 - Languanges
" I TombRaider131313 have Griefed or Trolled the City or Town of Epic Silver." "I TombRaider131313 have Spammed or Use Caps or Vulgar excessively."
When quoting a rule, it should look like this: Clause 2 - Scamming A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe. Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion. You were not banned for scamming, this is simply an example of how it would look when quoting rules. @TombRaider131313
As I've been saying, you need to quote the rules that you have broken. This means that you need to copy and paste the specific rules that you have broken. It should look like this: Clause 2 - Scamming A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe. Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion. This is an example of quoting a rule. As you were banned for Inappropriate Language, Spam, and Grief, you will need to quote those rules, instead of the example I've used. @TombRaider131313
Clause 1 - Griefing · Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you. · This is not allowed in protected towns under any circumstance, and the owner of a town is welcome to put in aGrief Report and Rollback Requestwhenever they find grief within their town in order to have it investigated. · The only exception to this is in the case that the owner of the town makes griefing allowable within the town. They must inform all residents of such a rule upon the residents joining the town. · When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. · Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. · Please seeSection 7for rules regarding grief in the Aether, Nether and Mining World. Clause 1.1 - CAPS and Spam · Bypassing our CAPS filter and/or typing in all caps is not allowed. · Spam is not allowed. Repetitive words, letters, symbols that aren’t used in their correct context, or many messages sent quickly are considered spam. Clause 2 - Vulgarity · Inappropriate and vulgar language is not allowed. This includes anything put on signs, said in chat, written in books, renamed to on items (see Section 3 Clause 2.1), spelt out in blocks, or any other way of communicating. · Occasional mild to moderate vulgarities that are not directed at anyone (such as "slip-ups" or saying them in the incorrect chat by accident), self-censorship of a swear word or abbreviations that may imply a swear word (ie. WTF?) are allowed. · Repeated or excessive swearing, and especially vulgar language directed at anyone, is not tolerated under any circumstance. · Racist language of any sort falls under the vulgarity rule, and is considered a very serious offence, punishment of which may not warrant a warning before being given.
Alright, thank you for quoting the rules that you have broken @TombRaider131313. On ECC, we have zero tolerance for Griefing. People don't build structures just to have them torn down by other users for their own self-amusement. If a user builds something, please treat it with respect. You wouldn't want something you've built griefed by another user. As for your Inappropriate Spam, that is a no-go. Here on ECC, we are a Family-Friendly server with varying age groups. We don't need younger users seeing inappropriate words or remarks, especially when it is repeated over and over. As you seem to be truly sorry for your actions, and you've been banned for a considerable amount of time, I shall be issuing you a 1 hour Temp-Ban. Please remember that there are people on the other end of that screen. What you do and say will leave an impact on them. Once you've returned, I want you to read through our server rules, found here, to avoid these problems again. User Temp-Banned for 1 hour -- Locked.
