Minecraft Username: surferkev Reason: attempting to kill in non-pvp zone/attempting to scam rules i broke Clause 3 - Harassment Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play. Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based. This includes, but is not limited to; blackmail, bullying or any other form of harassment that occurs through our chat system. Attempting to kill other players in any non-PvP zone also constitutes as harassment, and succeeding in killing other players in non-PvP areas is a very severe offence that will result in a ban. Clause 2.2 - Attempted Scamming Users cannot attempt to scam other users. If enough evidence is provided and the staff believe a scam was intended, this will result in a temporary ban against the offending user. Counter-Reason: There is no excuse for what I did and I would like to apologize to the user(s) that were affected in this. After he would not sell me the nstars I asked him to leave and he did not leave so a couple of minutes later when none of the mods would help me I decided to do it myself, which i now realize was a really dumb idea, I lit the ground around him on fire not the block he was on so he would leave. Again I would like to apologize for the mistake I choose to make and all the user(s) hurt because of it. Evidence: none nessicary
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to file an appeal. As you have stated above, you are indeed banned for attempted killing/attempted scamming. This is completely unacceptable on our server, hence, why you're banned for it. I also want to thank you for copying in the rules you broke as it tells me that you have looked at them and will now hopefully learn from your mistakes and live by our rules. I hope that in the day you have had since your ban you have had some time to reflect on and learn from your actions. Your explanation proves to me that you have thought about this and are truly sorry for your actions. Under no circumstances is what you did okay. If you are having trouble with a user, feel free to call a staff member to come and up out, taking justice into your hands often ends up bad. Either walk away from the situation or get help from us. After looking through your history and reading your appeal, I have decided to issue you a one day temp-ban for your actions. Your actions were completely unacceptable and I would like you to take some more time off to cool down and reflect on your actions before you re-join us. During this temp-ban, I invite you to re-read our entire list of server rules so that you can avoid any more bans as they are no fun.
