Name: caroleel Reason banned: advertising Counter reason: yes I made a big mistake. But I have put so much time in my day to play this awesome server. I'm not sure if in doing the format right cuz I have never been banned. Anyways, I was on mc chat and for some reason I can't stay on the server for more than 4 seconds. So I asked cracker228989 to talk on a diferent server because I wanted to talk. Then I got banned for advertising which I didn't even realize. So all in all I'm very sorry and keep me banned if u want but I will miss my friends. Also lost friends such as cracker228989. Evidence: none
Some "friend" if they are no longer friends with you because you got banned for inadvertent advertisement... sheesh.
So you were telling your freind to go to another server to talk? After that you got banned for advertising? Well that's a bit (Way) harsh. Oh I hope that the mod doesn't find this not good enough to get unbanned. (Sorry for advertising but it's not another server. Ban me from chatting if you must mods.) Just go on skype and THEN talk every youtuber doe it. (At least.)
"hey let's talk on Skype/facebook/outside-of-minecraft-thing-to-chat " that's a lot easier than go and say "hey, let's go to another server and chat there" It can definitely be taken as an "undercover" advertising. "Hey dude, I wanna tell you something but I can't chat here for some reason, can you come to [IP]" once in the other server "hey don't you think this is cool" or whatever... It still makes people go to another server, outside of ECC, which is the main reason to ban advertising. You chose the hard and most complicated way to talk to another person while having connection issues. I think the temp ban is definitely a good warning for you to avoid it in the future. caroleel Oh and "i lost a friend like cracker228989" is real mature dude. If you were really friends this shouldn't be a reason for you to break the friendship, instead you should be understanding of the situation. Not for being friends she is gonna go soft on you. She has to treat everyone the same way And I'm pretty sure none of us is supposed to talk here if we are not directly involved in the ban. So my apologize for posting here but I thought it was necessary.

As for your Appeal, you violated one of our most serious rules, and I'm going to advise that you read up on these rules again. You are an experienced player of ECC, and should be well aware of the rules of this community. There is absolutely no excuse for advertising, and I hope you are truly apologetic of your actions. I've quoted the rule you broke below. Please be patient while a Supermod+ goes over your Appeal, and refrain from bumping your thread any more than you have so far. There is no need to post unless you're contributing to your Appeal, which in all of your previous comments you have not.
Also to add to my counter reason: I checked the rules on wiki right when I got banned to see whati did wrong. I realized my mistakes and I'm very sorry. Also linking a supermod for falcon. Physicistsmom
Thank you for appealing. First off, this is your second time being banned here; not your first. As a president you should already know that giving out another server IP is advertising whether it is in a global channel or a pm to someone. This is not tolerated in any channel here. If you needed to speak with a staff member about your issue then you could have messaged any one of us on the forums, spoke to us on TS, or on IRC. There are many ways to contact us about any issues you are having. Because advertising wasn't really your intent I will be unbanning you. Make sure you never do this again though or there will be consequences. So, make sure that you are fully aware of our rules on this. Unbanned
