Ban Appeal

Reason: attempting to scam
Counter reason: It might have appeared to be a scam but it was not. I said I was selling a melon,sword. This is because I wanted people to think it was a melon sword at first and then tell them that they were only buying a melon and a sword with very good enchantments and see if they are still interested. Did I still advertise it as a melon sword when they got interested?! NO! I told them the truth that I was selling a melon and a sword. I did this in the hopes they would be still interested. Most people said "No, sorry I thought you were selling a real melon sword." Thomasku said I was attempting to scam him because at first he thought it was a real melon sword and then I told him what I really was saying. If I really attempted I wouldn't have said what I was really selling. Attemting would mean that I continued to say I had a melon sword and then just about when a player would buy it they figured out that it was a scam. That's attempted! What I did was false advertise it and then say clearly what I was really selling!!! I have learned the consequences of scamming and I would not do it again. This is just a misuderstanding. Thomason doesn't have it right. It was not an attempted scam. It was first attracting the person into a deal with something really great and then say what you are really selling. For example: someone is selling a gold ring!! A person thinks oh I want a gold ring! Then the seller say okay but it's painted gold! The person would think oh, so it's not real gold. They didnt try to scam me they just deceived me but then told me what it really
was. This is what happend. That is the truth! Would I have try to scam a president who is fully aware of the ability to file complaints? NO! Would I scam anyone? NO! I have done things in the past that I am not proud of but that was when I was a builder who was not aware of the rules! My last ban appeal mad it seam like I forgot to but the and in but that was not fully the truth. It is part of it. Again, I am very sorry for luring people into thinking they were buying something and then telling them what they were really buying. I love this server very much and I was considering buying more donations. This little incident I think did not deserve a permaban. I understand the rule I supposedly broke. In fact, I understand all the rules and since my last ban I strongly beleive I have not broken any of the rules deserving a ban. Slightly false advertising is not a huge offense. Many people may false advertise and not even realize it. Also is there any evidence of me really not selling a real melon sword? Maybe I do have one, despite of my confession!

Again I am sorry if I broke any rule and I will never ever again make someone think they are buying something and then telling them what I was really selling. Thomas mentions that I would not put the melon and sword in the donation chest because it was a scam. I wouldn't because I do not trust those chests becuase of the history of people stealing from them. The sword I was selling with the melon was quite valuable and was appraised by a mod to be worth 5k.

 

I blaintly told him what he was going to buy( a melon and a sword)!! He thought that it was a scam though even though I told him what I was going to buy. I have been banned many times before but like I have said I have learned. Those bans made me think more then any other player about the rules. As a result I am very informed about the rules and know that I will not break anymore. I am sure seeing my previous ban would make any Mod be worried to let me back on the server. This is understandable. But I can promise you I understand the rules and I am 100 percent capable and most certainly willing to follow the rules.

Since Kukukeeloo (or however you spell it) had a part in my ban does h really have to handle my appeal?
