Minecraft Username: Lord_Poring_III Reason for being banned: Griefing the town of Welch. Counter-Reason: Sgt_Coltvin is one of my friends, when he saw that Blyddy was offline for 25 days, he thought that we could remove Blyddy from the town because of her not being online for 7 days (turns out she was at camp but no one told Sgt). Since I had perms to the town of Welch by buying a large building, me and Sgt started to take the valuables of her house and removing her and all the other owners from the town. We thought that since the mayor has not been online for quite a while, we could remove Blyddy and since the owner was nit present, Sgt would be the somewhat official mayor of the town of Welch. I am truly sorry for griefing Welch. I would never have done that if I had known that it was against the rules, it would be the last thing I would do for ECC is my favorite server, I spent most of my time playing Minecraft on ECC. I should probably have read the rules more thoroughly and check it every once in a while to check for new additions. I am really really sorry for my wrong doings and I promise I will never ever do it again. We also promised that we would rebuild the mansion and give a compensation of 50k to Blyddy as stated in the thread below by Sgt. Lord_Poring I am glad you decided to appeal your ban. That being said, it is clearly obvious that you have not read the rules for the server. We have rules in place to protect town Mayors that spend their hard earned money on protected land. We do this because inside each town, they work hard to make the attractive to other users, and in turn, make them money by selling plots, making farms, etc. If you had in fact read the rules, like you said you did when you became a resident and donator, you would have realized this is not only illegal, but morally wrong. You cannot take someone's land from them no matter how long they have been offline. You cannot then destroy everything that the Mayor worked hard for, because they have not been online. That is theft and griefing by the simplest definition. While you do seem sorry for what you have done, you have simply shifted the blame from yourself, to Sgt_Colvin. And while I understand he said it was okay, had you read the rules, you would have known this was a big mistake, and hopefully would have tried to persuade him from doing this. While your appeal does show remorse and I think you are sincerely sorry for what has happened, I will leave the decision up to a SuperMod+ as to what happens from here. While we wait for one to review your ban, I suggest you read each and every single rule on the wiki to prevent your name from showing up as a ban appeal again. I look forward to seeing you in game soon!! Link to rules: http://ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Rules Rules you broke: Left unlocked for SuperMod+ review.
Thank you for appealing. I hope that you have taken heed to what lavajok has stated and have been going over all of our rules. All of this could have been avoided if it was done so when you were supposed to while applying for resident. Because this is your first offense I will be issuing you a 2 hour temp ban. During this time, please continue to read our rules so that you know them to avoid this kind of issue in the future. Any further offenses can result in a longer ban.
