Minecraft username: Zanide Reason: Misinterpreted minecraft chat of "ECC is much better than *Mod Edit*" as being an advertisement of a server IP. Also my brother oatmealman14 was banned for allegedly bypassing ban (but we share the same internet so the IP is the same). He was also asking why I was banned. Counter Reason: For myself I do not believe saying that ECC is better than *Mod Edit* is advertising an IP address, nor do I believe that stating that ECC is awesome is a ban worthy thing. For my brother (oatmealman14), I do not believe he should have been banned for asking on my behalf why I was banned (I got banned 30 mins from my chat statement being issued and the reason was not readily apparent).
Hello, First and foremost I have a few things to say because of the apparent hostility. We have a no tolerance rule about the mentioning of other servers names or IPs. We do not allow it regardless of context or reason. This is one of the only things that result in an instant ban without warning. Secondly, your brother messaging me, with the same IP as yourself, asking about you, sends off red flags for any moderator on this server. It tells us that you are trying to bypass your ban via a secondary account and thus the response is a ban for that account as well until the ban issue can be resolved. The rule you broke is as follows: I understand that you did not know our server rules, and therefore this took you by surprise, but, this is in fact one of our most enforced rules. I will be unbanning you but only after you have served a 30 minute tempban with which to read the server rules. Then I will be, after 30 minues, dealing with your brother's ban appeal as well.
