aliceRoze and jjbethsilverhawk reason: multiple account violation counter-reason: I have 2 daughters who play on your server the oldest one found your server before she had an account so she used her younger sister's account to play. She recieved her own minecraft account a couple of days ago and transfered her stuff from her sister's account over to her new account by use of a mayor in the town at no time has she had both accounts on at the same time. Nor was there any intent to abuse the system. evidence: check the log file only one account was on at a time
Thank you for appealing. In cases like this we ask that users contact the staff ahead of time so that we can properly prepare for issues with multiple accounts in advance. There is the potential for significant abuse with multiple accounts. So, in the event we have evidence of two or more accounts being used in a seemingly suspicious way we are required to ban the accounts involved. Alright so, in most cases with dual accounting it generally turns out to be two different users with just the same IP. Process being ban them both and get an explanation as to why later. Usually it turns out that both of the accounts are in fact different users, but this is not what the whole the case is about here. What initially led me to banning both the account for dual accounting was the statement in which AliceRoze had made in the complaint here: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/theft.51581/ And I quote: This statement here is what hit the nail on the head. Users on ECC are only allowed to have one account, unless of course they get permission from the ServerAdmins to be able to have another account. Even in that scenario neither of the accounts are supposed to have any interaction between the two. This includes item transfers, money transfers, property transfers, etc. Now since I was unaware at the time of the current scenario that these are two different people, I would further request permission from the ServerAdmins to allow the creation of the new account with the transfer of the obtained possessions. Only reason I say this is because if a user plays on two different accounts, they are to not have any interaction as stated above. So, for the new account, AliceRoze, PM the Server Admins about requesting permission for use. As for this current account, JJBethSilverhawk, it will be unbanned since it was the original account created before hand. Unbanned & Locked.
