Minecraft Username: OmniCrafter Reason:You have been banned from EcoCityCraft for Nether grief at spawn. Counter-Reason: Hi, I made a lava waterfall. I made a wall to make sure it didnt flood to the spawn. I made a path so people could walk around it. I was actually trying to remove the waterfall after i realized i was near spawn, but i could not remove it. It wont happen again, but also I think technically I did not harm or render the spawn unusable to any user. Per the wiki http://www.ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Rules#Clause_II:_Nether There is only one rule regarding grief in the nether which is to leave spawn intact. I believe this was the spawn was left intact. You had to go a long way from the spawn, you cant even see it from there...
Hello Omnicrafter, I am glad you wish to appeal. I suggest not building with lava/water near the spawn in the mining world, or the nether. I suggest this, as you never know how far it may flow, and we do not want issue's like this happening again. While we wait for a Smod+ I want you to review our servers rules, and make sure you fully understand them all. The rules can be found here. From what I can see you already know what rule you broke, however here it is again: ~pbrassat17 ECC Moderator Left unlocked for Smod+
Thanks for appealing! Grief in the Nether is not allowed if it interferes with the Nether spawn. As shown by this picture, your wall did not work. The lava wall is surrounding the spawn area, and everything else is within the Nether spawn. From our investigations, we have concluded that the wall was built after the lava was placed. By the time the wall was built, the lava had already overflowed into spawn. This interferes with spawn, and therefore you were banned for it. I see that you are sorry, but I will need to see a little more effort into your appeal. Locked. Please appeal with more effort.
