Hello and thank you for taking the time to appeal. Yes as per our rules it is against the rules and is an instantly ban-able offense for advertising other servers. This includes naming or providing ip. The basic idea is we exist to provide a good environment for players and not as a platform for other servers to advertise their wares as most advertisers don't play our server anyways. But I digress, it appears that you have served 6 months for advertising which is a lengthy period and while we await a super moderator to unban you may I acquaint you better with the section of the rules you are in breach of?
