Edit: Oh, and add "Do not post inappropriate links in chat" to the rules. When I read the rules it wasn't there.

Whatever kind of link that was posted that resulted in you getting banned was obviously not appropriate for our community. Having a wide variance of age in our players means that you have to follow this rule so that others may enjoy the server as much as you do. As you put in your appeal, you knew the link was "very unpleasant" and it would be Common Sense to keep it out of chat so that others' gaming experience is not disturbed. Keep this in mind next time you feel like linking the server to an inappropriate site. 2 day tempban.
