Again, I am very sorry for the sleep Skylexia lost and I do regret my actions, believe me. Now, let me address the posts that followed my initial post on that page. "You were already banned for LWC trolling, so this isn't a Ban Request, it's a goodbye message, hence being locked." -Jetscat No I was not banned for LWC trolling at time time. ~10 Minutes before I requested my ban, I was online on ECC and was talking to laff80. /seen BuggyLemon and comparing the ban request post time to my last seen time will support that claim. I wanted to leave my name on the server because I really was attatched to it. I was planning to quit the next day and knew I wouldn't come on again for a long time. I did it for the same reason people imprint their names on walls with messages saying "[Name] was here." I understand that it may have been excessive, but as I mentioned earlier, I was sleep deprived and not thinking straight. This has caused the staff team to waste an hour fixing the damage (I did not know that what I was doing would be an inconvenience to others. If I had, I NEVER would have even thought about locking a single sign. I am not that kind of person). Bottom line: It may have seemed that I was purposely trolling staff and trying to waste your time, but in actuality I swear on my life that that was not my intent and I am very sorry for the damage I caused. In my opinion, it is inevitable that, if you leave unlocked signs in a public place, people will see that spawn has the same type of locked signs and blocks and assume that, since it is a part of spawn and a public place, that it would be okay to lock things that are there. I really regret this now and I am sorry that I was so excessive; I was not thinking straight "Tutorial Island is a work IN PROGRESS I have no idea why you thought that'd be okay" -Skylexia I did not know that Tutorial Island was a work in progress when I locked the first signs because everything on the roads etc. Seemed complete. Only when I reached the end of the roads did I see the parts that were not built yet and under construction. At that point, I just carried on because I assumed that since it was already open to the public, everything was already where you wanted it to be. I was following the line of thinking that you would not have opened it to everyone had it not been completed to the extent that users could not damage it. That is the reason that users do not have permission to build in spawn, right? So that they can't damage it. Further, I thought the signs that you guys wanted to be placed there were already down and that putting locks on them wouldn't give you any trouble. To be honest, I have no idea why, if you didn't want what happened to spawn (Locking everything) to happen to Tutorial Island while it was still being built, you didn't lock the signs before you opened it or at least put up a sign at the entrance saying, "Tutorial Island is a work in progress. Do not lock anything." Or something, just to let users know that they couldn't lock things the way they were locked in spawn. "I'm a little offended that you're just shrugging it off as "oh it wasn't my intent"" -Skylexia I was in no way shrugging it off saying, "It was not my intent." I was arguing against the accusation that was put on me that I was intentionally trying to troll the staff team. I was not shrugging off the action in which my fault lies: Going overboard I take full responsibility for what I did and I am very very sorry for the trouble it caused. I was not trolling because my intent was not to harm. The thing that I am sorry for is going overboard because that is where my fault lies. I really hope you see what my true intent was not to harm. I would have even removed the locks when I came online but by then it was too late because they had already been removed and I had been sleeping. The points made above in response to the quotes by staff members were not to spite ANYONE. They were simply to clear my name of false accusations that were made against me. Thank you for reading this and I hope you see, by the post that I quoted at the beginning of my appeal, my regret for my actions. In case I haven't made my regret clear for what I did, I am very very very sorry for inconvenice caused to staff. I made a stupid decision and I was wrong in locking the signs. Of my almost 1 year here, on and off, I have never trolled anyone intentionally. I don't know why you would think that I would start now P.S. This is the first time I have ever been banned, so if you do decide to unban me, am willing to serve any punishment ingame that you see fit. I will even help with the labour-intensive work at Tutorial Island to make up for the time I made staff lose when removing my locks.
